This custom installation tool greatly simplifies the process of installing any high-boost supercharger pulley on your Supercharged vehicle.

Pulley Removal and Installation "HOW TO"



Pulley Removal "HOW TO"



Step 1. Remove bolt or plastic screw cap in center of factory blower pulley.


Step 2. Important: Grease must be applied to threads to prevent galling.




Step 3. Install the provide 5/16 washer on bolt stud. Screw the 5/8 shaft onto the blower snout 100%.


Step 4. Tighten the two allen head 3/16 bolts (step 5.) evenly to horse shoe to ensure correct distribution of tension to pulley plate. Make shure gold nut is installed between pulley and removal square bar




Step 5. Important: Both bolts must be evenly threaded in order to pull off without damage to the shaft


Step 6. Turn counter clockwise to apply pressure to nut closet to pulley. Use a second wrench to keep outer welded nut from turning.

Load up puller until pulley pops. This will allow tight removal from shaft. The pulley will be tight during the ENTIRE removal.



Pulley Installation "HOW TO"





Step 7. Installation requires only the 5/8 bolt, square steel brace, 5/8 washer and nut.


Step 8. Tighten the two allen head 3/16 bolts (step 5.) evenly to horse shoe to ensure correct distribution of tension to pulley plate. Make shure gold nut is installed between pulley and removal square bar




Step 9. Press on new pulley. It will be a tight fit all the way on. Pulley will be installed correctly when pulley is flush with blower shaft.

NOTE:

During install, the welded end of the install shaft must not turn. If it turns you will break off the pilot screw in the blower shaft. Two 15/16 wrenches are required to prevent the tighten or loosening of the install shaft.


Step 10. Check the pulley to make sure it is flush with the shaft.
